Registration has opened for Surf Expo, a leading watersports and coastal lifestyle trade show, which takes place Sept. 4-6 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

“We’re anticipating a strong turnout for Surf Expo September,” says Roy Turner, senior vice president and show director of Surf Expo. “Thousands of retail buyers, decision-makers and industry pros from across the U.S. and abroad are already planning to attend. Following a successful January show, we expect that momentum to continue. With renewed energy across the coastal, outdoor, lifestyle and resort markets, Surf Expo remains the place to connect, discover and do business.”

Buyers can expect to find plenty of new products and up-and-coming brands at the September Surf Expo. Show organizers share that several leading brands will attend, including names such as Tommy Bahama, Elan, Smith & Quinn, Body Glove, Cape-Shore, Honey Swim, Rhythm, FreeFly, Lovlei and Vineyard Vines.

Turner adds, “This year, we’re welcoming an impressive roster of new exhibitors offering everything from artisan-made accessories to innovative equipment and travel-inspired lifestyle goods. Many of these newcomers bring a focus on sustainability and unique brand stories that will resonate with the modern retail audiences.”

Already, show organizers say they have seen strong commitment from major buyers representing lifestyle boutiques, outdoor shops, big-box stores, surf shops, resorts and souvenir retailers. Retailers from coastlines, lake towns and inland getaways plan to attend, including Palmetto Moon, Dillard’s, Burlington, Scheels, Paradies, Bealls, Alvin’s Island and Flip Flop Shops, along with various entertainment parks, surf shops, cruise lines and resorts.

Surf Expo’s September edition will also feature more offerings that reflect the lifestyle of today’s outdoor and resort consumer, with more brands in categories such as golf apparel, technical outerwear, wellness, eco-travel and boutique gifts, show organizers note.

In addition, Surf Expo will include live demos, brand-led activations and a redesigned floor plan for better category flow and buyer navigation. Buyers can also attend focused Learning Labs and expert panels covering retail strategy, merchandising, consumer insights and more.

Show organizers have also enhanced Surf Expo’s digital matchmaking tools to help buyers and brands to connect before, during and after the show.

“Surf Expo September will bring together the best of the surf, resort, boutique and outdoor markets in one dynamic setting,” says Turner. “Whether you’re scouting new products, launching a brand or looking to connect with industry leaders, this is where the next season starts.”
