Peking Handicraft rang in the new year by celebrating a huge milestone – 45 years in the home textiles wholesale business, as a now second-generation family-owned company.

Peking has experienced tremendous growth since its founding in 1977 by Dicky and Annie Lo. Annie still serves as CEO, while her oldest son, Derrick Lois president. Daughter Sandy Lo oversees large accounts, which includes top-of-bed and decorative accessories. Cindy Lo, the youngest daughter, oversees the specialty channel.

Signature design, outstanding customer service and licensed artist partnerships are the foundation of Peking’s success. The company has retailers that have been purchasing the line for more than 40 years, a testament to the company’s quality product. Because of the range of licensed makers and artisans who align with Peking Handicraft, the wholesaler can supply on-trend items from its in-house study. What’s more, a focus on social responsibility across the supply chain resonates with its customers—and over the years, the company has encouraged business practices from energy efficiency upgrades to conserving resources.

Also integral to the business’s success is its committed sales representatives, who establish long-term relationships with retailers. For these partners, Peking is a one-stop-shop for textiles and with items that can fit any channel of retail.

Peking celebrated its 45th Anniversary in its corporate showroom in Atlanta, Building 1, 10th Floor, Ste. 10-A-4 on Jan. 13.
