Naples Soap resonds to customer demand for hemp products.

Nov. 25, 2020

Naples Soap Co., a maker of bath and body products, launched its hemp line in the fourth quarter of 2019 in its nine Florida stores, online and wholesale channels. The move, according to company spokesperson Sarah Dewberry, was because of its customers. Their awareness of CBD and hemp products and their benefits had been growing steadily.

“Consumers had started to request hemp-related products in our stores, and it was certainly an emerging trend in the skin care industry,” she says.

Naples Soap decided to introduce hemp into the company’s core products lines — body, sea salt scrub, body oil, bath bombs, shampoo and conditioner bars. In addition, the company launched a new product with hemp seed oil, a bath soak made from sake.

The company launched two different fragrances for the hemp line: original and eucalyptus. Both are unisex scents.

Hemp Original scent is described as a robust and earthy unisex scent that combines woodsy scents like applewood, cedarwood and oakmoss with citrusy bergamot, sweet vanilla bourbon, rich allspice and a hint of patchouli to create a complex and sophisticated scent.

Hemp Eucalyptus is described as herbaceous, earthy and fresh, an invigorating scent that clears the mind and energizes the soul.

The company also understands the importance of educating its customers on the benefits of CBD and hemp and has taken to its blog to help enlighten them. Posts on the benefits of hemp hair care and the sake soak are just some examples of articles that can be found at www.naplessoap.com/blog.
