Surf Expo has opened buyer registration for its Sept. 16-18 show in Orlando, Florida. As a large coastal outdoor marketplace, Surf Expo offers guests opportunities for business growth, networking and industry innovation. The show features a diverse range of vendors, from surf, skate and outdoor to boutique, resort, swim, footwear, souvenir and coastal gift & decor categories.
Show organizers say they have moved Surf Expo to a slightly later September time frame, well ahead of the Labor Day holiday for ease of travel and planning. The show will also run Wednesday through Friday, giving buyers a more business-focused show experience without having to make a Saturday commitment.
The surf section remains a key anchor of the event, and show organizers say September’s lineup includes many notable names returning, including Quiksilver, Billabong, Body Glove, Katin, Salty Crew, Rhythm, Roxy Swim, RVCA, Sand Cloud, Catch Surf, Duvin, Jetty, Howler Brothers and others. The show’s Boutique and Resort categories are also seeing strong early commitments, with exhibitors such as Tommy Bahama, Elan International, Ocean Drive, Surf Gypsy, Fair Harbor, Cabana Life and Skechers.
Show organizers say the Shoreline Outdoor category is also continuing to grow, featuring adventure-focused brands such as Life is Good, Bimini Bay Outfitters and Beach & Barn. Buyers sourcing for water-inspired lifestyle will also find premium footwear options from companies such as Frogg Toggs and Pajar Canada at the show.
Additionally, key Swim and Coastal Gift & Decor brands are already committed to the show, including Anne Cole, Manhattan Beachwear, Dippin Daisys, Cape Shore and Fancy That Gift & Decor.
Surf Expo will also feature several buyer education sessions with top retail consultants and industry experts as they share actionable tips on topics such as digital transformation, visual merchandising and sustainable retailing. Attendees can participate in interactive demos on the show floor as well.
Surf Expo is also continuing its 50th anniversary celebrations at the September show and will offer some exclusive 50th anniversary merchandise and boards in giveaways around the show floor.
