Some apparel brands can draw a crowd, and that’s the case with Simply Southern at Elly’s Gifts in Emerald Isle, North Carolina.
Manager Susan Johnson says the Simply Southern brand has been big with its customers for a while, from the brand’s popular apparel and handbags to other accessories such as makeup bags and drinkware. This spring, she says Elly’s Gifts decided to dedicate a 400-square-foot section of the store to the Simply Southern brand.
Elly’s Gifts painted the walls of the section with pink and white stripes to match the Simply Southern branding and added signage to draw attention to the spot.
Johnson says, “We added the Simply Southern Boutique, trying to bring something new to the area with a lot more selection.”
