RedlineXpo, a leading provider of trade shows and expos across the United States, has announced the newest addition to its portfolio: CARV — California Action Retailer + Venture. CARV Expo, taking place June 20-22, 2025 at the San Diego Convention Center, marks the return of a West Coast-based expo where manufacturers can showcase the latest outdoor, adventure and sport-related products.

CARV Expo will make use of more than 70,000 square feet at the San Diego Convention Center and will feature a wide range of manufacturers, including surf, skate, bike and outdoor sport businesses, showcasing products from apparel to hard goods to wellness and more. Attendees can expect to find hundreds of different lines on display all in a setting designed to foster connection and networking opportunities for buyers and sellers.

"The West Coast is where many of the action sports brands and retailers are headquartered and, yet, for many years now the only expo available has been on the opposite side of the country. This location also improves access to retailers and brands from Hawaii and beyond," says Josh Rifkin, co-founder, CARV Expo. "We’re excited to launch CARV and bring an action retail show to California so it's easier for our industry to connect on a regular basis and showcase the culture and energy that has made surfing, skating and just getting outdoors a way of life for so many of us."

CARV will take place over two and half days in a casual, convenient setting that will give brands and buyers ample time to connect both on the show floor and outside the convention center. The date pattern is as important as the location, giving the opportunity for retailers to pre-book orders for all of the brands’ spring releases as well as a chance to place immediate orders. Exhibitors can expect to meet with key buyers from across the United States, representing some of the country's most well-respected and groundbreaking independent retailers as well relevant chains and large tourist attractions. Buyers can expect to see the premier names in outdoor, adventure and sport-related products.

“The initial response to CARV has been tremendous,” says Evan Shoda, CEO, RedlineXpo. “Exhibitors get it immediately. It makes perfect sense to be in San Diego. When you pair that with the value we are bringing to the table, it makes the show all the more appealing. As with every RedlineXpo experience, we expect to host many of our high profile buyers in attendance searching for all of the latest trends.”

“We’ve also received positive feedback from our key accounts and buyer advisory board members who are excited to have another opportunity to meet with the leaders in the outdoor, adventure and sport-related industries,” adds Jhana Jordan, director of key accounts for RedlineXpo. “We expect CARV to help buyers have a strong summer season, and get orders placed in time to start planning for 2026. We’re confident buyers will find a lot of synergy on the expo floor and find the unique, high-quality products their shoppers are looking for.”

CARV joins the RedlineXpo portfolio alongside the Rocky Mountain Apparel, Gift & Resort Show — the destination expo for the Rocky Mountain Region — and The Reunion — a curated experience for high-quality buyers and sellers of apparel and retail goods.
