Naples Soap Co.’s nine Florida stores are open for business, just in time for Mothers Day. The company reopened its stores on May 4, according to a report on the NBC2 News website.

According to the article, the company is adhering to state restrictions by only allowing 10 customers inside a store at a time. To protect against COVID-19, staff are also wearing masks and gloves and cash is not being accepted.

The company carries a variety of scented skin care products that under normal conditions, customers would want to smell and sample before buying. But to keep customers safe, testers have been removed from the store floors to limit human touch. Customers who want to test a product can ask an associate to bring a tester sample out to them.

The article also states that several stores have working sinks at the entrance, so customers can wash their hands before or after their visit.

The Florida stores are located in Destin, Estero, Ft. Myers, Ranch, Naples, South Naples, Punta Gorda, Sanibel Island and St. Petersburg.

Customers also have the option of calling a store ahead of time and picking up the order curbside or ordering online. ■
