What Our Readers Say

After receiving the first issue of Seaside Retailer, I knew this magazine was different from any other retail gift publication. The focus on all things coastal for retail as well as business insight from industry peers is extremely informative.  I feel the articles are very relative and educational, especially for coastal retailers. Working as a retail professional for a non-profit conservation organization, I appreciate the efforts that Seaside Retailer puts into articles addressing sustainability, as well as showcasing sources for new and exciting eco-friendly products. Looking forward to the next issue!"

Seaside Retailer has filled a void in the coastal boutique wholesale magazine market, offering trending and particularly Made in America artisan products. I enjoy the articles about fellow business owners around the country, reading how even if we are in different parts of the country, we are all going through the same ups and downs of owning a retail shop and being entrepreneurs. I look forward to receiving each issue to see what fun new items I can bring into my stores!

Whether you’re a new business or an established retailer you’ve got to keep your inventory fresh. Seaside Retailer gives you insights into other retailers, how they approach their business and tips on what makes them successful. I like to look for new trends, and through their advertisements, have picked up a couple of new lines. Any opportunity to improve your business in this tough climate is important and Seaside Retailer is a source that I use and look forward to using for years to come.

I just felt right at home with Seaside Retailer. I felt like it has always been a part of my life and that they really understand me. When I looked at the products, I saw many items that I carry in my store and knew the vendors. It’s nice to be spoken to in your own “language.” I felt like the whole region was represented well.

I really enjoy reading Seaside Retailer magazine. Not only does it get me up to date on the latest trends in the retail world, I have also found some great new lines for my stores! It is almost like attending market, you just do it from home.

Seaside Retailer is a wonderful publication. I love having the opportunity to see what is trending, new products and hot styles in the resort market. I also find that it is extremely helpful reading about other seaside/souvenir retailers, realizing that we all face the same challenges and also experience the joys of owning/running a small business such as ours. The information in Seaside Retailer is also a great guide to remind us of upcoming shows, expositions and trade shows and what they have to offer.
Lynn Mitchell, owner, Mrs. Mitchell's Gifts, Mrs. M's Summer House, Hyannis, Massachusetts

So nice to finally have a publication specific to our needs! Seaside Retailer is a wealth of information and a great resource for both new and seasoned coastal theme retailers. I enjoy being able to see other shops like mine sharing insights and ideas. I’m looking forward to receiving next month’s issue!
