Atlanta Market temporaries create cohesive sourcing in winter 2024 |

Winter 2024 edition will feature four days of education and events.In a continued reimagining of its product resources, location changes for several Atlanta Market temporary exhibit categories will create more cohesive and compelling presentation of 1,400 gift and home brands across more than 30 categories, January 16-22, 2024, at AmericasMart Atlanta. Atlanta Market’s temporary exhibits, now housed exclusively in Buildings 2 and 3, open on Wednesday, Jan. 17, and run through Sunday, Jan. 21. “Atlanta Market consistently delivers gift and home discovery across diverse lines and vibrant products,” said Dororthy Belshaw, ANDMORE executive vice president, chief growth officer. “Longstanding market favorites and brand-new exhibitors marry the tried-and-true with bold innovation at Atlanta Market this Winter.” The Winter 2024 Atlanta Market inspires comprehensive sourcing as six of its 30+ product categories relocate. With this change, 1,400 temporary exhibitors are housed across nine floors in Buildings 2 and 3. Some 70 Home Accents & Home Furnishings and Fine Linens & Home Textiles resources relocate from Building 1 to Building 2, joining Home LUXE on Floor 2, consolidating all home décor exhibitors together onto one floor. In line with this change, the Market’s four housewares, tabletop and specialty food categories – Gourmet; Gourmet LUXE; Housewares; Tabletop & Entertaining; and Tabletop LUXE – will be presented together on Floor 3. Following its Summer 2023 Atlanta Market debut, Modern Maker moves to Building 2, Floor 1, joining HIGH DESIGN and HIGH DESIGN LUXE. In its Winter Market debut, Modern Maker, a collection of design-led, handmade products ranging from lifestyle and home décor to gift, expands to feature: Andy Koupal (hand blown glass design); Carter & Rose (ceramics and planters); Gary Bodker Designs GreenTree (taper and sculptural candles); Matt Kolbrener Glass (glass and steel design); and ZPOTS Studio Pottery (hand-built pottery and mugs) In a continuation of ANDMORE’s partnerships with three key trade organizations, specialized product offerings add to the buyer experience with juried collections at Atlanta Market. Museum Store Association’s The Gallery Collection returns to Building 3, Floor 2 with a curated collection of 21 exhibitors showing books, Fair Trade, garden and home décor goods. Georgia Grown brings 16 Georgia-native brands to Market in Building 2, Floor 4 and Greeting Card Association features *Noted Village in Building 3, Floor 5, complete with 10 exhibitors showcasing on-trend greeting cards. For the Winter 2024 Atlanta Market, temporary exhibits are open Wednesday, January 17 – Saturday, January 20, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Sunday, Jan. 21, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Atlanta Market’s Winter 2024 edition will also feature four days of education and events with nearly 20 tastemaker presentations, keynote seminars, celebrations and amenities planned for the Jan. 16-22, 2024, event. “Atlanta Market’s Winter 2024 programming combines industry education with the chance to connect and collaborate through market celebrations,” says Karen Olson, executive vice president and chief marketing officer at ANDMORE. “These specially curated events perfectly complement the abundant sourcing opportunities available in January, making this market the can’t-miss event of the season.” ANDMORE says the Atlanta Market Winter 2024 edition will include seven educational seminars and panels for attendees. Furniture, Lighting & Décor will present the Beyond the Backyard session, moderated by Editor-in-Chief Diane Falvey to discover outdoor space configuration at 2:30 p.m. on Jan. 16. Kaila Piepkow, founder of Dox Design, will lead The Ultimate Visual Branding Crash Course to discuss key components for visual branding at 2:30 p.m. on Jan. 17. Ginger Curtis will present Neuroaesthetics: A Beautiful Conversation on the intersection between design and emotion at 2:30 p.m. on Jan. 18. Additionally, Luxe Interiors + Design will lead the Ahead of the Curve Panel to offer a preview to new home design trends at 2:30 p.m. on Jan. 19. The event also will feature three interactive cooking demonstrations in the JURA Demonstration Kitchen on Building 2, Floor 8, all of which will take place at 2:30 p.m. on Jan. 17-19. All sessions at Atlanta Market are free and open to all attendees. Atlanta Market will also present its signature parties and amenities to attendees. Celebrations will commence with the Market Kickoff Party at 6 p.m. Jan. 17 and will feature complementary drinks, a DJ and light bites in Building 3 on the opening day of the Temporaries. |
