A pawsome idea |

People buy beach gear for themselves and their kids, and now there’s an beach item that their dogs can enjoy. A true beach product for pets that seaside stores can consider carrying is the Kala Karrier, touted as “a three-in-one carrier, compression vest and towel for your outdoor-loving best friend.” Sisters Ray and Nina Ceretto founded the Kala Ko on the belief that “dog accessories should be an extension of you.” The company’s mission is to provide thoughtfully curated products for the adventurous on-trend dog owner. Rea came up with the idea for the carrier after adopting a puppy, Haleakala. Nicknamed Kala, she loved playing in the ocean and rolling around in the sands of Hawaii, but she also suffered from anxiety and needed to be held close. The carrier allows owners to dry and clean their dogs and convert the same towel into a dog carrier. The design provides a hugging sensation that comforts the dog. Now all the Kalas of the word can get the care and attention they deserve. |
