The Summer Edition of the show reported growth in international brands exhibiting.![]() Shoppe Object’s Summer Edition Aug. 2-4 at the Starrett-Lehigh Building set two records: its highest-ever attendance and largest exhibitor roster, underscoring the impact of its intentional growth strategy by creating new opportunities for companies of all sizes while strengthening its community. Buyers, interior designers and members of the media visited with over 900 exhibitors, with international brands making up 55% of all exhibitors. Building upon consistent market growth since its inception, the latest Shoppe Object drew an increase in traffic of almost 10% year over year, with attendees coming from 42 countries and six continents. Show organizers said the growth reflects a strategy to expand the show’s international reach and exhibitor mix while keeping the experience itself, both for buyers and brands, at the center of every decision. “This show started because, as exhibitors ourselves, we just wanted a better experience — great product, music in the aisles and a decent cup of coffee. Now, Shoppe Object has taken on a life of its own, and what it has become — an expansive community that builds real relationships and global business — is beyond anything we could have imagined,” said Jesse James, founder and president of Shoppe Object Series and senior vice president of creative, experience and innovation for ANDMORE. “I walked this edition feeling a real sense of pride and gratitude for the many people who have given so much of themselves to make it far more than what we set out to.” The scale and layout of the show are designed to help brands share their visual identities while providing an ideal environment for attendees to uncover something new and unexpected. From the complimentary breakfast to the annual Showboat party in New York Harbor, Shoppe Object created opportunities for connection in and beyond the show floor. “Shoppe Object absolutely changed the trajectory of our business,” said Cynthia Main founder of Kentucky-based Sunhouse Craft. “The show puts us in front of buyers who really appreciate the work we do, which is a huge win for our brand.” This year, the Shoppe Talks series at the show explored three themes, including the Heart, the Head and the Hand, featuring industry leaders from Design Within Reach, Bloomingdale’s, Fair Trade Federation, The Locavore and more. Show organizers shared that the jump in international brands exhibiting indicates Shoppe Object’s position as a global sourcing destination. Buyers come to he show confident they can source products from around the world, all in one place. “Shoppe Object continues to be an invaluable platform for showcasing Indonesian craftsmanship to the U.S. market,” said Dewi Wahyudi, vice consul for economic affairs and consulate general of the Republic of Indonesia in New York. “Through the Indonesia Showcase, we’re proud to present curated artisans while connecting with high-quality buyers, gaining valuable market insights and building lasting partnerships that support sustainable international growth.” Shoppe Object New York will return to the Starrett-Lehigh Building for its Winter Edition Feb. 7-9, 2027. |
