Show organizers also plan to make several updates for its Winter 2026 event.

NY NOW hosted its 2025 Summer Market Aug. 3-5 at NYC’s Javits Center, where buyers and suppliers from around the world converged for a showcase of popular and trending products in the gift, home, lifestyle and accessories categories. Retailers used the market to find new products while strengthening inventory supply chains in advance of the holiday shopping season.

“NY NOW has long been the go-to destination for retailers to discover the most profitable, popular and on-trend products ahead of the holidays — and this summer’s event did not disappoint,” said Matthew Mathiasen, show director. “Just as importantly, it fostered meaningful connections and secured product sources that will help independent and specialty retailers navigate ongoing trade and supply chain challenges.”

Key suppliers at the market expressed satisfaction regarding the level of engagement and connections made at the event.

“The NY NOW Summer Market has been really good. Opening day was phenomenal, way beyond my expectations,” said Michael Wainwright, owner and designer of Michael Wainwright USA. “The people who were buying were real buyers. I had this great mix of new accounts as well as reorders. It’s really exciting connecting with buyers whom I haven’t seen in a long time rewrite with me. There is no question that I will be participating in NY NOW going forward.”

At every edition, NY NOW recognizes standout brands across multiple product categories with its Innovation & Impact Awards. The Summer Market 2025 honorees that were awarded across four categories included:

  • Emerging Brand Award: Jersey Meatbawls Co.
  • Sustainability & Social Impact Award: Chick Boss
  • Trailblazer Award: Lilia's Eye Candy LLC
  • People's Choice Award: Petrichor

Finalists in the three pre-judged categories included Bloon Paris and The Librarian’s Candle Co. for the Emerging Brand Award; MISNEVER and Petrichor for the Sustainability & Social Impact Award; and Bondeye Jewelry and Novium for Trailblazer Award.

Building off the momentum from this month’s event, NY NOW show management has already started working in preparation for NY NOW Winter Market 2026, scheduled for Feb. 1-3 at NYC’s Javits Center. While next winter’s event will feature NY NOW’s trade show innovations, it will also introduce some new elements to the show. These will include enhancements to several trending product categories, such as design home, luxe gift, tabletop and stationery/paper.
